How to read these metrics
The number of fully closed positions in the sample. 318 trades means 318 completed long and short cycles with defined entry and exit.
R is your risk unit. Risk $100 on a trade and that is 1R. +329.38R is the sum of all closed trade outcomes in risk units, wins and losses combined.
Expected value per trade: Total R divided by Total Trades. +1.04R means the average closed trade returned just over one full risk unit. Positive EV is the statistical signature of a durable edge.
This is the most important visual in the package. It shows the compound growth path of the strategy after backtesting and live execution across multi-year periods: bull and bear markets, strong trending phases, and sideways ranges, plus high-volatility stress and drawdown recovery. Starting at 1.00×, the curve shows how capital compounds trade by trade. A rising equity curve over years is not luck. It is process under pressure.
